Raf Simons SS 2000 "Pyramid" Tee 48

Raf Simons SS 2000 "Pyramid" Tee 48

The Pyramid motif from Raf's Simons' SS 2000 collection, "Summa Cum Laude" is one of the most well known in contemporary fashion thanks to the infamous bomber jackets. These tees were made to continue the motif and feature a pyramid design on both the back and chest. The vibrant yellow color is also in line with the themes of the collection, which relied heavily on primary colors along with black and white.

The pyramid itself was inspired by similar motifs in the work of Keith Herring, a famous modern artist whose work in the 1980's was highly influential. The art scene has influenced Simons' designs throughout his career and this is but one example.

Regarding condition, this piece is in good vintage condition. Flaws include general wear to the fabric from age, a small hole in the back under the arm and two holes where the logo tag at the back of the neck used to be fastened.
The care and size tags are still intact and the print is in excellent shape on both the front and the back. Condition is reflected in the price.

Marked size 48. Like all Raf tees from this era, this tee is meant to fit tight across the chest and features considerable stretch. Please see measurement's for exact fit.
